The Certified Apartment Property Supervisor cirriculum was developed to provide basic skills training for multi-site supervisors, or managers aspiring to multi-site supervision. The programs are designed to provide the foundation of sound supervisory management. The coursework includes:
- Human Resource Management
- Financial Management
- Legal Responsibilities
- Property Evaluation, Acquistion and Renovation
- Property Maintenance
- Marketing
- Risk Management
- Adding Value with Technology
Successful testing after each course as well as successful completion of a final exam and essays along with a lengthy application are required for this designation. Annual dues and continuing education credits are required to maintain this designation.
