LAS VEGAS /June 29, 2009/ The National Apartment Association Education Institute (NAAEI) is pleased to announce that Dennis Norris, CAMT, of College Station, Texas has been awarded Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician of the Year. Mr. Norris was recognized at the 2009 PARAGON Awards Ceremony Saturday evening at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

Dennis and his colleagues represent the best and the brightest in the apartment industry, said Alexandra Jackiw, CAPS, CPM, NAAEI President. Dennis has demonstrated, in his years as a maintenance professional, that hard work and the right attitude can lead to great opportunities in the apartment industry. It is evident that Dennis enjoys helping people and serving his state and local apartment associations. We are happy to bestow Dennis with the 2009 NAA PARAGON Award for Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician of the Year, the highest honor that our industry grants annually.

In addition to earning his Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician in 2002, Mr. Norris has held his EPA certification for ten years. He also holds a Texas Irrigators License and his Certified Pool Operator license.  Mr. Norris serves as Member-at-Large for the Bryan College Station Apartment Association and is a voting delegate for the Texas Apartment Association.
